Ways to Give

Westminster is an active and vibrant congregation. Our ministries for our members and our missions that share God's love with others are limited only by our available resources.

We invite you to explore these ways of financial giving.

A pledge is a promise to donate a certain amount of money to Westminster within a calendar year so that we can effectively plan for our ministries and missions. Click here to make your pledge online!

If you would like to make a one-time contribution or set up automatic recurring contributions from your bank account, click here to access our secure site. We also accept checks made payable to Westminster Presbyterian Church and mailed to 1502 West 13th Street, Wilmington, DE 19806-4223.

Planned Gift

Planned gifts are a form of charitable giving made in the context of estate planning. They take many forms such as through personal wills, charitable gift annuities, insurance policies and IRA’s naming Westminster as beneficiary. In most cases, these gifts require no immediate contribution to the church, but they serve as an expression of our deepest values and an extension of faithful spiritual practice. The church typically receives these funds after the donor finishes using them. Stock Donation

Donations of appreciated stock can be advantageous from a tax perspective. The church sells the stock and will apply the mean value on the date of the transfer towards your pledge. Please contact Colleen Falasco, Director of Financial Operations, at (302) 654-5214 ext. 131 or via email for more information and instructions regarding the transfer of the stock. It is important to notify us when you transfer stock to the church.

Thank you for your support in sustaining our
spiritual direction and vibrant church life!
