Dear Friends,

I love being the Church Educator at Westminster Presbyterian Church!  I love it for many reasons, but mostly for Sunday mornings.  So many friendly faces, so much energy, and so much inspiration.  Go anywhere in the building on a Sunday morning and you will find those three ingredients.

Christian education and spiritual growth are high values at Westminster Church.  Please browse through our website, specifically the LEARN section, to see the many opportunities available for disciples of all ages to learn, stretch, and grow in faith.  As you do, please keep several things in mind:

  • Education for discipleship is a life-long endeavor.  Every child of God from cradle to grave is on a spiritual journey and needs resources for that journey.

  • Christian education is a community endeavor.  Though we can read and pray individually, our identity as Christians is intimately and unconditionally tied to a faith community; we are members of the Body of Christ and thus we are meant to worship, serve, and grow together.

  • Westminster Presbyterian Church is blessed with phenomenal leadership and faithful resources that allow us to design environments for learning that are engaging, energizing, creative, and challenging.

  • Westminster's programs are designed to fit together, and to complement one another.  That is, a child, youth or adult can participate in every program for their age group, and experience something new and compelling in each one.

Enjoy exploring Westminster Church's educational offerings. I hope you will participate with us in weekly worship, faithful mission, AND Christian education.

In Christ's peace,

Susan Moseley
