What Is Chapel Club?
Each week, children meet in a safe and loving environment for Christian growth and development through:
CHOIR AND WORSHIP![]()
The Chapel Choir program provides children with the opportunity to deepen their faith through music, and prepares them for participationand leadership inworship through music education. The Choir participates in worship regularly and presents a musical each year.
RECREATION![]()
Each Tuesday, children may choose between games and crafts. Inclusive and energetic games provide an exciting time of fun and fellowship in Community Hall. Crafts provide a social environment for creative expression. The goal of recreation is to have fun at the expense of no one.
BIBLE STUDY
Bible study is an invaluable part of the Chapel Club experience. The study of scripture is the key to understanding:

• Who we are as children of God
• What it means to treat each other as children of God
• The process of relationships
• What it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ
• That God loves each one of us no matter what
DINNER AND FELLOWSHIP
A sense of sharing and being a part of the family of God stems from “breaking bread” together. During dinner, we work on intergenerational relationships and the building of table families who enjoy one another and care about one another.
What are the specific goals?
The primary goal of Chapel Club is the spiritual nurture of children. This nurture is provided through relationships with Christian adults, Christian peers, our pastors, and the engagement of body, heart and mind in worship, study, fellowship and service. Children who participate are being prepared for leadership in the church and the world.
Chapel Club Covenant
Everyone is to treat everyone else as a child of God. No one has the right to treat anyone else as if they do not matter.

Bring a Friend!
Children are highly encouraged to invite a friend to join them on Tuesday afternoons. The cost for each friend is just $2.00. Please contact Susan Moseley or leave a message on the Chapel Club voicemail (302) 654–5214 ext. 321 at least 24 hours in advance so we can plan to welcome your child’s guest!
Parent Participation
Parent participation is essential! Active participation by at least one parent of every child in Chapel Club is required. Since the staff is largely voluntary, part-time service by a large number of people is essential to keep the many activities going.
